Jageshwar is located 36 kilometers (22 mi) northeast of Almora in Almora district in the Kumaon region. It is one of the Dhams (pilgrimage areas) of Lord Shiva built before the 7th century and has a group of many small and big temples.
Sri Briddha or Bud Jageshwar is also at a distance of 3 kilometers from Jageshwar which can be reached only through trekking.
A unique example of the history of Hindu temples can be seen in Jageshwar Dham and Bud Jageshwar located in the valleys of the Himalayas.
On the first day, you will be picked up from Kathgodam and will go to Almora via Bhimtal, Bhawali, and Kaichi Dham. After visiting the popular Kasar Devi Temple and Chitai Golu Devta Temple in Almora, have dinner and stay in hotel.
On the second day, we will reach Jageshwar Dham from Almora and trek 3 kilometers to Vriddha Jageshwar. After seeing more than 100 stone temples and beautiful places in Jageshwar, we will go back to Almora and spend the night.
Then on return, there will be dinner and night stay at the resort in Jeolikote located near Nainital. From here, the distance of Kathgodam is 18 kilometers and the distance of Nainital Lake is 20 kilometers.
On the morning of the fourth day, you will be dropped back to Kathgodam.
