Munsiyari is situated at an altitude of approximately 2,200 meters (7,200 ft) at the base of the Himalayan mountain range in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand.
Snow falls in Munsiyari many times a year and many mountains remain frozen throughout the year, due to which people of many villages like Malla Johar keep changing their places during summer and winter seasons.
Munsiyari, located around the Goriganga river, is the first choice for trekkers and there is a lot to see for animal lovers as well.
There are many beautiful places here like Birthi falls, Maheshwari Kund, Panchachuli Peak, Thamari Kund, Kalamuni Top, Khaliya Top, Betulidhar, Nanda Devi Temple, and Darkot.
Along with trekking, Munsiyari is also a place to do adventure activities like skiing, bird watching, river rafting.
In this tour you will visit many beautiful places, details of which you can see below.
On the first day, you will be picked up from Kathgodam and taken to Nainital and after breakfast at the hotel, you will be taken to visit 13 view points. Then in the evening you can go boating in Naini Lake and take a walk in Mall Road. After dinner and hotel stay, preparations will be made to go to Jageshwar Dham.
Next day morning, after checking out from the hotel, we will go to Jageshwar Dham, Bud Jageshwar Temple located at a distance of 3 km track and Patal Bhuvaneshwar. By staying at the hotel in the evening and having dinner, you will relax for the next day's journey in 3 star resort.
On the third day, after checking out from the hotel in Patal Bhuvaneshwar, we will go towards Munsiyari and after fresh and dinner at the hotel, we will explore the market of Munsiyari where you can do some shopping for yourself. Then after trekking for 3 kilometers we will reach Nanda Devi Temple where we get to see very beautiful views and feel positive energy. In the evening you will be returned to hotel for overnight stay and dinner.
On the fourth day, after breakfast, you will go to Birthi Falls, Maheshwari Kund, Panchachuli Peak, Thamari Kund, Kalamuni Top, and Khaliya Top where you can enjoy skiing activity at your own cost.
On the fifth day, after breakfast and checkout at the hotel, you will proceed from Munsiyari to Almora where you will visit some popular places which include Zero points is located in the Binsar wildlife sanctuary, Katarmal Sun Temple, and Kasar Devi Temple. After a busy day, stay at hotel for dinner and night rest.
6th Day Morning After breakfast you will be dropped back to Kathgodam.
